100 Biodegradable

Created by SURE, this certification states that SURE's products that carry this '100% Biodegradable' standard are 100% biodegradable. Biodegradable (also often called compostable and literally translated from this standard biodegradable) means that a packaging or product itself can be naturally broken down by micro-organisms (bacteria and fungi), and converted to CO2, water and methane. That the product with this standardisation is 100% biodegradable is based on an independent OECD 301B test. SURE contains a full range of detergents and disinfectants for daily cleaning and hygiene that are plant-based and 100% biodegradable, with applicability from kitchens and buildings to personal hygiene. This is because these SURE products contain natural ingredients derived from by-products of the agri-food industry, from maize, sugar beet, coconut and straw, for example. This makes them biodegradable.
